MYAI is hosting the First Ultimate Drumline Battle on

Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 2:00 PM. We are honored to

host the event at the New Memphis Music Room located

in the Bartlett Area. Thanks to a collaboration with the

owner Johnny Bennett and his vision to connect the

community and Arts in Memphis, we are able to showcase

drumlines from across the nation! As this is a fundraiser,

MYAI will be using ticket sales to raise money towards

furthering their mission of providing performing arts across the mid-south.

Round #1 Exhibition March-Through

Each Drumline will line up at the stage/floor garage

door to be announced and march-in to showcase for

the event. Once the door is let up, the drumline may

begin the round, march in, then position themselves on

the floor in front to present one cadence of choice.

You are free to do whatever you would like in this

round and once complete, the line will kickdown and

WALK back to their holding area until the second round

begins.

Round #2 Floor Show Judged Competiton

Drumlines will present a 7-10 Min Floor show on STAGE

as a competition entry. The JR Division will go first, then

the SR Division will go second. The highest score in each

division will win 1st Place, then 2nd Place, then 3rd Place

and so on. The HIGHEST SCORE amongst both Divisions will win the

GRAND CHAMPION TITLE and Award. Best Dressed & Crowd Favorite Awards will be determined by the judges unanimously.
